Come to a meet!

The best thing you can do is come to a meet. No matter how many pictures we take, or blog posts we write, their simply is no substitute for seeing things first hand. Meets are annouced ahead of time on our homepage.

You can sign up for an account on this site. If you do then you can post questions to our forums and comments and questions to the various blog posts, pictures, etc. on the site.

Hello All:

  I found your site and thought I would like to try this hobby.   I tried remote control planes but having poor depth preception.....only thing I accomplished was creating holes in the ground!   I live near Charlottesville and have a nice size pond on my property to practice and even host an event.

  After reading many web sites, I've decided to start with USS Brooklynn as my first ship.  I do have some questions and hope I can start exchanging e-mails to meet the standards of the club.   Here are a few questions that I have to start my ship.

 

What type guns are allowed?  I've seen fast guns. are these the correct type? 

what size motor should I buy to not exceed the speed limitations?

 

I look forward to friendship and sending your boats to the bottom!!
