Rotary Table Arrived

The latest additions to tooling for the mill arriived today. I just spent the evening cleaning the packing greese off of the rotary table, four jaw independant chuck and mounting plate. (picture links to Little Machine Shop site)

I bought the set from Little Machine Shop which included a dividing plate and tail stock even though I really don't need those right now. I didn't want the table to be discontinued before I ordered them and then I would be stuck getting another table. The four jaw chuck bolts right on to my lathe also! As an added bonus my 3" and 4" three jaw lathe chucks also bolt onto the mounting plate for the rotary table!

I need to get some longer bolts to clamp parts to the table. So I will have to wait until later in the week to start cutting parts. I don't know if what I have planned will work but if it does... <evil laugh>

Can you use the indexing plate with your other chucks?

Yes - all the chucks mount identically. So now I have three, basically interchangable, chucks for the mill and lathe.(links go to Little Machine Shop)

So, when does the live adapter that allows you to mount your spare chucks to your tailstock show up?
