Honey Do List
Still working on printing the invitations.
The printer is giving me a lot of trouble.
The card stock does not want to feed to print the back side?
It worked just fine when I had printed the front side.

Re: Honey Do List
Do believe that I have just about finished with the printing.
I Grabbed Lumpy and was about to paint the hull when the rain started falling!
Changing topics.....
Brian:
The material that is used for the MOG's ribs. Is that stuff strong enough to be a blast shield?
Another cRaZy thought.
Can foamy stand up to an iron?
I was wondering about printing the super structure onto iron on transfer sheet.
Then Iron them onto to foamy sheets.
That way no painting would be required and a highly detailed superstructure would be the end result.
While on the topic of Foamy.
JoAnn Fabrics has "Gray" foamy sheets for sale.
Re: Honey Do List
I don't know if foamie would hold up to an iron... its a good idea though and worth trying (outside with a fire extinguisher handy
)
Re: Honey Do List
Mog's ribs are G-10... I suspect it would stop a round but I thought the general consensus was that flexible blast shields were preferred.
Re: Honey Do List
HMMMM.
Maybe if a thin sheet of foam was glued to the outboard side of the G-10.......
Re: Honey Do List
Another "Honey Do" item has been placed on my list, thus Lumpy's screw will have to take a back seat for a few days.
Re: Honey Do List
Was hit with a VERY long "Honey Do" list today.
It will not be until after our Mother's Day party that I will be able to devote any time to the ships, the hat or club shirts.
Yes, We are hosting a large Mother's Day Party, but this will be a very religious gathering (and the Monsignor will be doing a fund raiser for his seminary) that is why I did not send out invitations to the club. All of our guest rooms will be occupied.
Yes, the next time we do have a party at my place the Club will be invited.
Looking forward to seeing everyone next month.
Re: Honey Do List
UGH! the weekend is almost over and I have not accomplished a single thing!
Saturday had a house blessing to attend and a good portion of the barkada was there.
Oh! so much wonderful Pinoy food, I was so stuffed by the time we left.
I was able to clear out the boxes under the stairs so that I can install the wiring fir the new fridge.
Now today, woke up, attended services, then took Mary out to eat and to do some shopping, and run some errands. Here it is, after eight and we have not made it back home! I am so glad that I had put the laptop in the vehicle before we left.
Still have two errands to run before we can go back home.
Re: Honey Do List
LOL Sounds like you need to get Mary to start giving you afternoons off. Maybe if you guys scheduled your down time it would be easier.
