Deck Roughed Out

Kyle and I have been going gangbusters on Nassau... but we have not been stopping to take pictures and post articles. I thought I would start correcting that a bit today and show some of our progress. The first part of the week we made removable cross braces for the hull - which also act as a cradle for the CO2 bottle. We also roughed out the two piece deck.

Here are some pictures.

The above picture is from the aft end of the ship and shows the two deck pieces sitting in place. The following picture was taken foreward of the ship looking aft with the forward deck section removed.

The orange cross-brace is aluminum form a discarded street sign... I have a small stash of it that I was given a few years ago (I no longer have the source - sorry). There are brackets on the inside of the caprail which the cross-brace screws into. There is a similar brace behind the aft wing turrets.

If you look at the pictures too closing you might see some green hose running throughout the ship...  Yes, rotation should be working... but that is another post...
